Instructions for All Athletes

It’s time to prepare for athletics for next year!

  1. Schedule and get your REQUIRED physical ASAP

    • Physicals are FREE at Cogdell from May 1st through July 31st. Please call 325-573-1300 to schedule an appointment. After July 31st, physicals at Cogdell are $25.

    • YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE UNLESS YOU HAVE AN UPDATED PHYSICAL! Please take advantage of this opportunity! 

    • Physicals are REQUIRED for: SJH & SHS Student-athletes, SHS Marching Band, SHS Cheer, and SJH & SHS Special Olympians must get a physical if they:

      1. are new to the program

      2. are an incoming 7th, 9th, or 11th grader

      3. have a pre-existing medical condition

      4. were injured since their last physical and required a doctor's release

      5. Student trainers are also required to obtain one physical while in high school.

      6. If you have one from your previous school that is only one year old, please email a copy to the Athletics Secretary at athletics@snyderisd.net.

  2. Download and complete the Pre-Participation Medical History Form BEFORE your  appointment.  Online form: www.uiltexas.org/files/athletics/PrePhysFormRvsd2.21.pdf

    Hard copies are also available in the Athletic Office or at Cogdell Family Clinic. 

  3. Set up an account in Rank One:

    We have moved to a different program to manage forms called Rank One.  It is a much easier program to navigate; only the parent needs to create an account, but the students will still need to sign the forms.  Visit snyderisd.rankone.com to create an account.

**We may have an option to have physicals done at the school for one day in early June.  Details will be announced when available.

  2. Read the Athletic Handbooks

  3. Watch the SISD Drug Policy Presentation

  4. Attend Summer Workouts & Volunteer/Participate in Youth Camps (schedule coming soon!)

Field Access

Field access will be strictly limited to participants and individuals essential to the game.

Sportsmanship

Snyder High School promotes good sportsmanship by student-athletes, coaches and spectators. We request your cooperation by supporting the participants and officials in a positive manner. Profanity, racial or sexist comments, or other intimidating actions directed at officials, student-athletes, coaches, team representatives or fellow spectators will not be tolerated and are grounds for removal from the site of competition.
